We get it. UFC nights are busy. Here's an idea-have more than one waitress for the entire place. Either that or hire a good one. Waitress was so bad and the worst attitude ever like we were doing her a favor. Food took 40 minutes. Our friends went to jack in the box and came back for over 50 minutes before our food even got ordered or arrived. Food was super overpriced but hot when it arrived. UFC is great. Eat first, come early if you want a seat and pre party if you like to drink because you'll be sober before you drink enough in between waitress visits.

This place is NO longer Baxters. The new name is PEABO's Sports. Came here for the first time to watch the WFC fight. We got here a little late but there was still room to sit. So many TV's so it doesn't matter where you sit, you will still be able to watch. Great service even when while they were busy. Only two servers but they were both great! Place is big with Lots of Tv's. Crowd was ok no crazies. We did not order food but everything looked and smelled amazing. We will definitely be coming back for football games!

Quick caveat. This was once my neighborhood bar. I've been going to Baxter's for years but had pretty much abandoned it a couple years ago because the poor service and adversarial attitude drove me away. The new owners are working hard to change the attitude of the bar and of their staff and largely succeeding. New TVs have been installed or upgraded. New Sheetrock and paint has brightened up the place and they are rotating beer taps more often so there is a greater selection. Food has improved too. We started watching the Seahawk games here and they have game specials that were pretty good. With so many TVs they section off parts of the bar to different groups. If your team is playing they have a TV showing the game. As others have mentioned they do live music on the weekends and do have a large dance floor for a bar. They have also started doing comedy shows. I think they are once a month on Thursdays but am not sure. UFC is also their really big draw. With 20 plus TVs you can watch the fights from any where in the place and last I heard they were no longer charging a cover. (I haven't seen a fight there in 10 months. My newish GF hates UFC) :( They still got some room for improvement but the direction they are currently going makes me optimistic.

Good beer selection. Menu consists of only things that can be poured into a fryer from a frozen bag. Overpriced for the atmosphere.

Not sure why people are bashing on Baxters. It's classic hole-in-the-wall dive bar with no fancy promotions or gimicks. I've lived in Mill Creek for over 20-years and Baxters has been there for as long as I can remember! I came for a UFC pay-per-view and surprisingly, there were still seats 45-minutes into the event.. lucky us! No cover, reasonably priced beer on draft a TON of TV screens including 3 projectors. There really isn't a bad spot in the house if you're trying to catch a big game or fight. I'll defintely be coming here for future fights - can't beat free cover! Food isn't anything special and overpriced in my opinion. If you're looking for a "poppin" bar scene I'd go elsewhere.

I'm giving Baxter's in Mill Creek four stars (Yay! I'm a fan rating) because for what it is, it's great! My husband and I were looking for a neighborhood bar that would afford us a full bar, decent food and the option of going there during football season should a Packer game not be televised locally (hub's from Wisconsin and a huge Pack fan) We were attended to by Patty, the bartender, who makes a great Martini and Manhattan's ... talked with us and gave us a little background on the place, just a fun person to be around. The couple we met who were also sitting at the bar had been there before and knew a lot of the local people - were also a kick to talk to and visit with. The bar is large, to be sure - but I'm thinking it probably fills up during televised sports events, especially when the home teams play. We liked it for what it is, a non-fancy, easy-to-go-to place to have a drink and something to eat. We'll be returning for sure.

The place isnt that bad man. The reviews are fairly accurate in some respects. The place is spacious (except on UFC fight night) which is in my opinion the best time to go even if your not a fan. The people there are cool and pretty laid back never had problem. The staff is beyond nice and the bartender/tendress does make strong drinks. The place the staff the customers are for the most part blue collar but dont think there rabble there were a good amount of proffesional/business types in there too so dont be discouraged. As far as staff though, ive been in there when its slow, busy and on karaoke night and it was fine everytime. There was this one waitress there who also worked at the QFC up the road in Everett as well as a manager and when it would get busy she would be all over the place AND i never saw the bottom of my glass! When i think of Bars in Washington state..i think Baxters.

Place is just dirty and depressing. It's dark, damp, and cold. Bartender is awesome, and if you are looking to ruin your liver, this is your spot! Drinks are poured so strong, don't light a cigarette while holding your drink for fear of spontaneous combustion! Know going in that you aren't going to leave the place sober, in all probability you will be the only person in there, and it's a total dive with the clientele to match. Keep all that in mind, and you might have a decent time. Remember, when all else fails, drink more!

Decided to give Baxter's one more try. After getting there and waiting 15 minutes to order a beer - on tap (only one other customer at the counter), we ordered lunch. After 20 more minutes, when the waitress/bartender brought it over to us, her comment was "hope these are okay, it's the first time I've made them." Not a real positive experience at all. That, combined with the dirt and dust, means we definitely will not be back to Baxter's

the worst bar ever, the owner ralph is a total buthole! doesnt know how to treat customers and the barmaids came from a ugly contest, the food sucks! the bands , well if you play at baxters then you are at the bottom of the list!

Baxter's only real claim to fame is Karaoke, which if I'm recalling happend on Wednesday and Sundays . Other than that, it's kind of weird dive place with horrible drawings of Cher on the side. The place always gave me the creeps a bit, but some people really like it.

Made it to Baxter's this evening, as the snow first began falling here, for a first date. There aren't very many places in the Northend to meet up to start an evening, and certainly not many bars. The other half of the duo of the evening used to hang out here many years ago, so from his traveling point, he knew where it was. It was sooo dead while we were here. Not suprising for the area, even on a Saturday, or in this weather, Compared to any Seattle dive bar, this place is huge. Wrap around bar, booths, seperated seating areas, bars and stools along every wall, and three fully partioned off pool tables, darts, video games, jukebox, and a scattering of those table video game things (find the picture/whatever). We tried the shooting video game, played a few games of pool, messed around with the jukebox (which is really way too expensive). I had a few rum and cokes. The first sip of the first one and I thought I was going to catch fire. It was lovely. The bartendress was quick to point out they use higher level booze on tap than most bars, and then spit out a list of brand names for each. I don't care what it was, honestly, cause lady knows how to make a drink. We tried the nachos, chicken strips and fries as part of our evening from the basic menu here. Nothing superb, all very basic bar food, but it was all good. The chicken strips were some of the better I've had in a bar, and the fries were the 'skin on' type and good. They host karaoke, live bands, and run the gamet for featuring sports games on quite a few big screen TVs. For the evening though, after a few hours of the above activities, we opted to walk around the area outside in the snow to keep the evening going. We'd run out of things to do in a bar with barely a soul in it and the atmosphere of 'big empty sports bar' didn't really lend itself to intimate conversation. I'd be interested in checking out Baxter's again for karaoke or to see a show. I can imagine it's also a good time when it's a lively night.

We go to Baxters only because a buddys band plays there. No cover charge on weekends is a plus but the drinks were always weak and sometimes so is the beer.

The only good time to go to Baxter's is on Friday or Saturday nights. They have cover bands that play every weekend which is always fun for just some laid back, humorous entertainment with friends! There is always some pretty interesting people to chat with and people watching is always good! Okay, so if you are looking for a fancy bar with fancy drinks, this isn't the place. Its pretty much a homey dive bar but if you are looking for some friendly people or laid back night with a few friends you can make a good night out of Baxter's! Bar snobs beware, this place will not fulfill your needs.

This place is on par with a shit hole found living under a dive! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. If your in a band considering playing on one of thier so called local music nights save yourself a waste of gas and tell them to fuck off. Or you could play for free and then have them charge you for a fucking tap beer. It's a red neck white trash waste of space.

Everytime I walk into this place, I get depressed. The look, the feel, the crowd, all depresses me. They get two stars for having plenty of HD tv's for the sports games.
